myStrategic Compass: Education

Education

The Education data provided in myStrategic Compass is collected through surveys to schools regarding their programs of study, cost and financial aid, school setting, special programs, and contact information. The Schools List includes technical and trade schools, as well as all universities, colleges, and community colleges. Links to electronic applications are provided, when these applications exist. Users can compare schools, including admissions requirements, costs, general information, graduate study information and program information.

A program of study is a sequence of courses that leads to a degree or certificate. At colleges and universities, programs of study are called "majors." This content area connects occupations to schools that provide training and to scholarships related to that training. You can view admissions requirements to certain programs (e.g., some nursing programs have admissions requirements beyond that of the school admissions requirements) and discover unique information about programs that may be of interest.

Scholarships & Financial Aid

The Scholarships list includes scholarships based on financial need, academic performance, leadership, and more. Learners can view the award amount and application requirements for each scholarship.

When learners search for particular schools, they can view tuition and financial aid information, including the types of aid available and the application process.

Application Tracker

In their Career Plan, learners can access the FAFSA application, track their scholarship and school application progress, and take notes for personal reference.
